We are excited to see that Straight Out Adventures has 3 out of 5 travel trends to watch for in 2011 covered! According to American Express Travel, these are a few of the travel trends to watch for this year:

• Expert-cations: These focus on a specific interest such as food, golf, yoga, spa, history or even more niche travel like knitting cruises or salsa dancing classes. These travelers will spend more for an itinerary tailored to their interests. They also enjoy exclusive tours, private viewings and unique experiences.

• Multi-generational travel:  Cruises and upscale all-inclusive vacations are popular in this growing segment.

• Gay-specific travel: More hotels, cruises and destinations catering specifically to gays, including Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale.
