“If you’ve got the chance to go.. go!”
April 13th, 2011“I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Turks and Caicos. The Straight Out Adventures team spared no expense in making sure my vacation was both relaxing and personalized to my tastes. The villa in which we stayed was spectacular, the food was five-star, and I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and accommodating host than Joanne Cerant. I certainly won’t hesitate when it comes to booking another trip with Straight Out Adventures; if you’ve got the chance to go – go.”

March 22nd, 2011The idea that gay vacations are an essential service package for many travel agencies is talked about in a great article by Articlesbase.
Here is a little preview:
“Gay vacations are fast becoming an important and essential service package for many travel and holiday agencies. This has been prompted by an increase in the number of people registering for this exclusive vacation. For this reason there is the need for packages that cater to this market. These vacation packages provide gays with a very unique chance to travel, enjoy, and socialize with other gays from other parts of the world. Gay couples and even singles meet others for purposes of casual delight that may even form lifelong bonds. The distinction between a gay vacation and other forms of gay interactions is that they are carried in public areas.
The key objective of gay vacations with respect to the travelers is to make for thoroughly fun holidays while facilitating interactions with other gays. Travel companies are now providing forums where patrons can register as members. It is important to note that travel companies are aware of the need for anonymity for their members. Information regarding their patrons is therefore encrypted for security purposes thus leaving travelers to enjoy their gay vacations with peace of mind. The internet has been the tool of choice for persons intending to travel on this type of a vacation. Many companies are offering travel packages for gays on the internet and their services include cruises to exotic areas like the tropical islands.”

March 2nd, 2011Most tour companies generally require solo travelers to pay a single occupancy fee, which can be very costly. At Straight Out Adventures, we help singles and friends traveling together to avoid the single supplement by offering an innovative roommate share program.
To make it easy and affordable for singles and friends to enjoy a Straight Out Adventures vacation, we have created a unique roommate share program that rewards everyone involved.
This is how the program works for our May 7- 14, 2011 event in Turks and Caicos. If would like to share a 1,004 sq ft. one-bedroom suite, we are happy to offer each of you in the suite a discount. You put together your own share group with 3 – 4 people maximum. A discount is given to each person sharing the suite.
Each one bedroom suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a king size bed and a queen size pull out couch. We’ll leave the logistical details to you to work out!
With the sense of community on our vacations, you’ll easily meet new friends and make connections with other guys right from the start. Our cocktail and dinner events provide opportunity to mix and mingle and get to know your fellow vacationers and have fun!

February 21st, 2011AOL has named Turks and Caicos one of the top budget destinations for 2011!
“You don’t have to be a celebrity to holiday on these picturesque Caribbean islands. Starting on February 17th, JetBlue will begin daily service from New York’s JFK airport and seasonal flights from Boston’s Logan airport to Providenciales in Turks & Caicos. Once you land, head straight to the many free beaches that line the shores. Stay at Grace Bay in Providenciales… don’t worry about exchange rates since the US dollar is the official currency, and it’s within walking distance of 10 different beaches.”

No Comments »Grace Bay Beach: 5 Reasons to Visit
February 10th, 20111. The best climate in the Caribbean
The temperature is neither too hot nor too cold on Grace Bay Beach, and it hardly ever rains here. Thanks to trade winds and cool offshore breezes, the temperature remains in the 70s and 80s throughout the islands. The winter months are cooler, when it is busiest (the high season lasts from mid-December to the beginning of April). The rainiest time of the year lasts from April to July.
2. They use the dollar
American currency is accepted on the Turks and Caicos, which means that all you have to do is pack your bag and hop on a plane. You never have to worry about changing money, or making sure you are getting the best exchange rate.
3. This place is different
This Caribbean paradise has cultivated a reputation for casual elegance – the islands are more than just a package tour destination. This British protectorate offers resort vacations, but also truly unique opportunities to explore a remnants of the Caribbean’s rich natural history; there are many intact ecosystems located throughout the islands that have all but disappeared in other parts of the region. Caves, coral reefs and rare animal populations can be explored by kayak or by sailboat, often right from your beachfront hotel.
4. Just the right size
Only about 200,000 people visit these islands each year, compared to the millions that visit other tropical destinations in the Caribbean. It’s also easy to get around by car, and it’s easy to travel throughout the islands by boat.
5. It’s safe
The Turks and Caicos belong to the Commonwealth, and possesses a stable, elected parliamentary government. There is a strong emphasis on peace, order and good government, which means travelers can relax and worry about the finer things in life, such as when the pool opens at a hotel, or deciding which beach to visit in the morning, and which beach to visit in the evening.
Most importantly, Turks & Caicos is SUPER gay friendly!
